Tami Kassim joined the Firm's litigation department in 1995 where she specialises in banking and insurance law. Her clients include one of the largest commercial banks in the Bahamas and a leading insurance company. Her practice areas also include employment, intellectual property and family law.

Transactions on which she has recently worked include:

• Representing leading Bahamian insurers in a personal injury claim before the Court of Appeal and advising insurers on large personal injury claims;
• Advising a Bahamian bank on intellectual property issues for its private banking services ;
• Acting for the largest Bahamian commercial bank in debt recovery and security realisation matters.

Tami attended the Bishop Strachan School, Toronto, Canada. She obtained a B.A. in History from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. She studied law at the University of Hull, Kingston-Upon-Hull, England and prepared for the Bar Examinations at the BPP School, London, England. Tami was admitted to the Bar of England and Wales and the Bahamas Bar in 1995 and she is a member of the Honorable Society of Gray's Inn, London, England.
