Dana C. Wells joined the Firm in 1972. He has acted as lead counsel for major international and Bahamian financial institutions on commercial loan transactions, including numerous multi-jurisdictional transactions involving groups of international banks. Dana's real estate expertise includes the structuring, financing and sale of commercial properties, subdivisions, residential projects, condominiums, time share developments, hotels and resorts. He is also sought after for his in-depth knowledge of the local banking industry, mergers & acquisitions, and corporate matters including IPO's.

Transactions on which he has recently worked include:

• Financing of the largest resort development in The Bahamas.
• Structuring real estate developments including luxury residential, hotel, marina, condominium, time share, and commercial projects throughout Nassau, Paradise Island, and the Out Islands.
• Establishing local manufacturing concerns under the Industrial Encouragement Act.

Dana Wells was admitted to the Bahamas Bar in 1972. He is an active member of the Bahamas Air Sea Rescue Association (BASRA) and Rotary International.
