Andrew Wells has been a Partner of the Firm since 1996. Andrew represents several of the leading Bahamian banks on residential real estate and commercial financing transactions. Andrew has worked on the re-financing of large resort hotels in Nassau and Freeport with major Bahamian banks and international lending institutions. He has represented clients in relation to the registration of ships and ship mortgages in The Bahamas under the Merchant Shipping Act.

Transactions on which he has recently worked include:

• Representing real estate developers with the purchase, development and re-sale of subdivisions.
• Advising a local bank on compliance with securities laws in conjunction with a public offering.
• Advising an international bank on various aspects of financing hotels and commercial concerns in The Bahamas.
• Conducting due diligence on various companies affiliated with a major oil conglomerate.

Andrew Wells entered into Articles of Clerkship with the Firm in 1985, and was admitted to the Bahamas Bar in 1990. Andrew is the Firm's representative to the Bahamas Chamber of Commerce.
