Petra M. Hanna-Weekes joined the firm as a partner in the Freeport office in July 2010. She has several years of experience in the corporate, commercial and real estate areas of law.

Petra has advised and represented high net worth individuals in estate planning as well as provided commercial and corporate advice to both financial institutions and large industrial companies in the Bahamas.

From 1993 to 1998, Petra served as a Stipendiary & Circuit Magistrate in Freeport, Grand Bahama. She is a member of the Society of Trust and Estates Practitioners (STEP), a past president and director of the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA), and is a member of the Freeport Law Society.
